| The Group's principal activity is to produce advanced textiles, plastics and rubber products. The High Grade Textile sector manufactures and sells textile products ranging from manmade, high grade fabrics for industrial and safety clothing, work and uniforms, canvas and awning fabrics, to interlining for the clothing industry, carpet backing and denim. The Technical Components segment designs, develops and produces plastic spray caps, boxes, closures, lids and customized packaging for personal care market, household and food industry. This segment also develops rollers and assemblies for printers, copiers and postal sorting machines and seals for mobile telephones. The Group operates in the Netherlands, Rest of Europe, North America and Asia/Australia . On 15th February 2007 the Group acquired Roshield A/G, on the 29th of March 2007 the Group acquired Mattex and on the 12th of August 2007 Taunton USA. |
