| The Group's principal activities are manufacturing and marketing various types of construction and mining equipments. The operations are carried out through the following divisions. The Construction equipment and Industrial vehicle division manufactures and sells excavation machines, loading machines, ground leveling machines, transportation machines, forestry machines, underground construction machines, resource recycling machines, industrial vehicles, engines and cast products. The Industrial equipment and Others division manufactures and sells forge rolling machines, plating machines, machine tools, products for logistics and defense uses, as well as temperature control equipment. The Group has 164 subsidiaries and 41 associated companies in Japan, the United States, Belgium, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Sweden, Italia, South Africa, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, China and India. |
