The Group's principal activity is to manufacture and sell engine and engine bearings and valves. These engines are used in the farm machinery, generating sets and construction machinery. Its engines business consists of engines for power generation application and engines for applications other than power generation. The Group operates in the power, construction and mining, agriculture, industry and transport, oil and gas and environment protection with a range of industrial products and services. The Group sells its products in India, Africa, Middle East and Asian Region. During the fiscal year ended 31-Mar-2009, the Group sold its valves business to Eaton Industrial Systems Pvt. Ltd.
