| The Group's principal activity is to provide retail products and services in the trading sector. The Group operates in seven segments: Kesko Food, Rautakesko, W-auto, Anttila and Kesko Agro, Other Operations and Common Operations. Food manages food retail chains and food stores. Rautakesko operates in the building and home improvement trade. W-auto imports and markets Volkswagen, Audi and Seat cars and VW commercial vehicles in Finland. Anttila concentrates on the department store trade, offering home goods and interior decoration. Kesko Agro purchases and sells animal feed, chemicals and agricultural machinery. Other operations comprises the machinery, interior decorations, sports, home technology, shoe and technical trades. Common operations include joint intra-Group support functions. The Group operates in Finland, Other Nordic countries, Baltic countries and other countries. Its own brands are Prof, Cello, FXA and Fiorin. |
