| The Group's principal activity is to operate local railway, bus, tax and water transportation services. The local railway links Shiga, Osaka and Kyoto in Western Japan area. The operations are carried out through the following divisions: Distribution; Transportation; Leisure and services; Real estate and Others. Distribution division is engaged in the operation of department stores, stores and shopping malls, as well as the wholesale of construction materials. Transportation division provides railway, bus and taxi transportation services, as well as station services. Leisure and services division is engaged in the hotel, restaurants, amusement park, automobile, advertising, travel, golf course and expressway businesses, among others. Real estate division is engaged in the sale and leasing of real estate. Others division is engaged in the provision of equipment work, gardening making, measurement and designing, specific purpose financial and credit card services. |
