The Group's principal activity is to acquire and develop mineral properties. Through Kamoto Copper Company SARL , the Group is engaged in copper and cobalt mining and related activities, including the refurbishment and rehabilitation of the Kamoto/Dima mining complex in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the extraction and processing of copper and cobalt metals. In January 2008, it completed the acquisition of Nikanor Plc.
