The Group's principal activities are development, manufacture, acquisition, marketing and sale of technologically distinguished branded and generic or non-branded prescription pharmaceutical products. It operates through three segments, Branded Products Marketing, Specialty Generics Marketing and Specialty Raw Materials Marketing. It has developed and patented a wide variety of drug delivery and formulation technologies which are primarily focused in four principal areas: SITE RELEASE(R) bioadhesives; tastemasking; oral controlled release; and oral quick dissolving tablets. Currently, it owns more than 224 US and foreign trademarks.
