Japan Oil Transportation Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based transportation company mainly engaged in the oil transportation through railroads and automobiles. The Company operates in two business segments. The Railroad Transportation segment transports oil products and chemical compounds by railroad tank trucks, leases tank trucks for petroleum and petrochemicals use, various containers such as liquefied natural gas (LNG) containers, refrigeration and freezing containers and other types of containers, among others. The Automobile Transportation segment offers transportation mainly for LNG, petroleum, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and others by tank lorry and trucks. This segment is also engaged in the provision of maintenance services for automobiles, the purchase of equipment, the operation of oil tank facilities, among others. As of March 31, 2011, the Company had nine subsidiaries and one associated company.
