Jaiprakash Associates Limited (JAL) is an India-based diversified infrastructure conglomerate. JAL’s business sectors include engineering and construction; manufacturing and marketing of cement; energy (power and transmission); expressways; real estate, and hospitality. It has executed 13 hydropower projects over six states and Bhutan for generating approximately 10,290 megawatts power. JAL has developed approximately 165 kilometers long Yamuna Expressway along the Yamuna River connecting Noida and Agra. The Company has three operative hydro projects and one thermal power plant.
