| The Group's principal activities are to manufacture and distribute plastic sheets, irrigation systems and other agriculture related goods and components. The Group operates in two segments: High Tech Agri Input Products and Industrial Products. The Products of the Group include Micro Irrigation Systems consisting of drip and sprinkler irrigation systems; piping systems, consisting of PVC pipe and polyethylene pipe products; plastic sheets consisting of PVC sheet and polycarbonate sheet products; Agro-processed products, consisting of dehydrated onion and processed fruit purees and concentrates, and other products such as agricultural tissue culture and solar water heater and solar lighting systems. It has operations in India, Mauritius, the United Kingdom and the United States. During April 2006, the Group acquired Chapin Watermatics Inc and during February 2007, acquired Aquarius Brands Inc. California, USA and during May 2007, acquired Naandan Irrigation Systems. |
