| The Group's principal activities are to manufacture and market nutritional snack foods and distribute frozen beverages. The Group operates in four business segments: Food Service, Retail Supermarkets, The Restaurant Group and Frozen Beverages. The snack food products include soft pretzels, frozen juice treats, desserts, churros, baked goods and other products. Other products sold by the Group include soft drinks, funnel cakes sold under the FUNNEL CAKE FACTORY brand name, popcorn sold under the AIRPOPT brand name and smaller amounts of various other food products. The Group's retail customers are primarily supermarket chains. The restaurant group sells directly to the public through its chain of specialty snack food retail outlets. The Group markets frozen beverages to the food service industry, primarily in the United States, Mexico and Canada. On 09-Jan-2007, it acquired Hom/Ade Foods Inc, on 31-Jan-2007, Radar Inc., and on 02-Apr-2007, ICEE distributor. |
