| The Group's principal activities are production, distribution, marketing and export of processed, frozen and fresh beef and pork and its by-products. It manufactures beef and pork products, ready to eat meals, sausages, fresh pork and beef and canned vegetables. The group also deals with cattle slaughterhouses. The Group has 64 production units located in Brazil including the states of Sao Paulo, Goias, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Rondonia, Minas Gerias, Rio de Janeiro, Acre and Prana as well as in Argentina, USA, Italy and Australia. It sells and distributes its products to Asia, South America, Africa and Europe. In 2008, the Group acquired Inalca JBS S.p.A. |
