The Group's principal activity is producing and marketing methane gas for industrial and domestic use from virgin coal seams within its United Kingdom acreage. It has ownership interests ranging from 20% to 50% in eight Petroleum and Exploration Development Licences, 100% ownership of two methane drainage licences and 50% ownership of three off shore blocks under one seaward petroleum production licence.
