| The Group's principal activity is to operate department stores through two wholly owned subsidiaries: Isetan Company Limited and Mitsukoshi, Ltd. Isetan Company Limited is engaged in department store business, retail and boutique business, credit and financial business, as well as other business activities, including import and export, wholesale, travel agency, human resource, information processing, real estate, sports facility operation, logistics, building maintenance, and research and analysis. Mitsukoshi, Ltd. is involved in department store operation, real estate management, as well as manufacturing wholesale and various service businesses. The operations are carried out through the following divisions: Department store; Credit and financial ; Retail and boutique; Association and Other. |
