| The Group's principal activity is managing real estate in behalf of HBOS Group as well as other existing third party clients. The Group has access to a range of third party institutional and retail investors by means of various distribution channels, including HBOS Group, other third party distributors and the equity capital markets. The Group manages a total of 21 funds, some of which are providers of savings and investment products. Of the funds, 7 are HBOS funds (such as Clerical Medical), and 6 are other institutional clients' funds (such as St James's Place). The remainder are collective investor schemes, including real estate investment trusts and open ended unit trusts (such as Invista Foundation Property Trust and Invista Property Portfolio Fund). |
