It operates in three business segments: Futures Business, OTC Business and Market Data Business. The marketplace brings together buyers and sellers of derivatives and physical energy commodities contracts through a leading, Internet-based electronic trading platform. Its key products include contracts based on crude or refined oil, natural gas and power. Its principal customers include many of the world's largest energy companies and leading financial institutions. It has operations in the United Sates and the United Kingdom. It acquired Creditex on 29-Aug-2008.
