Thomson Financial Business Description:
| The Group's principal activities are carried out through its Retail and Distribution, Agro-Processing, Fast Foods and Manufacturing divisions. Retail and Distribution operates fast food and retail stores, and provides source distributorships for locally manufactured products to reduce their reliance on imported products. This division operates 50 SPAR stores and 31 Savemor branded stores being serviced by its Distribution Centre. Agro-Processing operates three crocodile ranch for the exotic skin markets. This division also has a number of operations relating to livestocks such as pigs, cattles and ostriches. Manufacturing business comprise Bakers Inn bread plants, food manufacturing business including the Iris Biscuits and Zapnax snacks marketed for both the local and regional markets. This division also manufactures appliances under the Capri brands. Fast Foods comprises stores and franchising operations located in the areas of Harare, Bulawayo and Gweru. |
