| The Group's principal activities are to manufacture, blend and distribute fuel additives and other specialty chemicals. The Group operates in three segments: Fuel Specialties, Active Chemicals and Octane Additives. Fuel Specialties business provides additives for a range of fuels to improve fuel efficiency, boost engine performance and reduce harmful emissions. Active Chemicals business provides technology-based solutions. Octane Additives business is the world's only producer of tetra ethyl lead ("TEL") and supplies this as an octane enhance in leaded gasoline for motor vehicles that run on leaded fuel Chemicals includes a range of companies that manufacture performance chemicals used in a wide range of industrial processes and everyday products. The manufacturing operations of the Group are located at Ellesmere Port, South Wirral, United Kingdom. The products are sold globally and are primarily to oil refineries and other chemical and industrial companies. |
