The Group's principal activities are mining, distributing and selling coal and coal processed products. Other activities include the operation of hotel and restaurant, production and sale of liquorice related products and medicine, and provision of technology development and consulting services. The coal produced and marketed by the Group is an energy source for power industry, metallurgical industry, coaling industry, chemical industry, civil use and building material and transportation lines. The products are sold to the domestic market in East China, South China, North China and Northeast China and to the overseas market in Korea, Japan, the Philippines and Singapore.
