The Group's principal activity is to provide food product and dairy product. It operates supermarket chains consisting of 197 supermarkets. It also operates 73 neighborhood shopping centers. The Group operates through three segments: retail grocery sales, shopping center rentals and fluid dairy processing plant. The supermarkets offer food products which includes grocery, meat and dairy products, produce, frozen foods and other perishables. Non-food products include fuel centers, pharmacies, health and beauty care products and general merchandise. The Group also operates book sections, media centers, floral departments, bakery departments and prepared foods including delicatessen sections. It sells its dairy and juice products to wholesale grocery distributors. The Group purchases and sells real estate in order to provide operational and economic benefits.
