It also has online operations across each of its principal markets. It has four geographical segments, namely Ireland, United Kingdom, South Africa and Australasia. The Company’s subsidiaries include Independent Newspapers (Ireland) Limited, Independent Newspapers Marketing Limited, Sunday Newspapers Limited, Newspread Limited and Independent Communications (Ireland) Limited. During the year ended December 31, 2009, the Company sold Independent News & Media Outdoor (Pty) Limited, the online business directory, finda.co.nz and the Kurnia outdoor business in Malaysia. |
