The Group's principal activity is to operate a chain of supermarkets in Tokyo area. The Group is specialized in perishables shipped directly from regional farmers and fishermen. The operations of the Group are carried out through the four business segments: Perishables, Processed food, Non-food products and Others. Perishable food segment includes fresh food, general food and convenience goods. Processed food segment includes prepared food, such as sushi. Non-food and Other products include book, compact disk(CD), pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and everyday sundries.
