The Group's principal activities are manufacturing and selling a range of drilling products and services. Its operations are composed of two business segments, Down Hole Instrumentation and Drilling Fluids & Chemicals. Drilling Fluids and Chemicals is the manufacture and supply of drilling fluids and chemicals to the mining, mineral exploration, oil and gas and water well drilling industries. Down Hole Instrumentation is the manufacture, sale and rental of down hole instrumentation. It also provides services including geophysical logging, down hole surveying and steering for directional drilling, and distributes down hole motors, cameras and drilling products. The Group operates in Australia, Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa and Americas.
