| The Group's principal activity is the production of copper wires for winding of electric machines, known as enamelled wires, as well as insulated cables for energy conduction. The enamelled wires are used to convert electric energy into mechanical energy or vice versa; these are mainly used in engines, electric generators and transformers. The insulated cables are used in the installation of electrical systems in private and industrial buildings, as well as for the wiring of appliances and switches. In 2005 the Group constituted IRCE Ltd in Brazil. |
