The Group's principal activity is to provide hospitalist services. It is organized around inpatient care, primarily delivered in hospitals, and is focused on providing, coordinating and managing the care of hospitalized patients. It has over 659 affiliated hospitalists. The Group assists hospitals and payors in improving their quality of care, increasing operating efficiencies and reducing costs. It operates in United States. On January 7, 2008, it completed the acquisition of a hospitalist group comprised of over 30 hospitalists practicing in 26 medical facilities located in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
