The Group's principal activity is investing in health and medical related properties. For investment security the Fund is structured as a Unit Trust. The Group does not operate health care facilities itself, rather, it identifies and purchases health care properties and lease them to operators. In some cases, it will undertake the design and construction of a health care related property for particular health service providers. These properties may include surgical and medical facilities, geriatric and continuing care facilities, primary health care facilities and health support facilities. The Group operates in New Zealand and Australia.
