| The Group's principal activities are to design, market and sell fashion wear and accessories. The Group's three segments are: Wholesale: comprises of sales to independent retailers and concept stores; Retail: comprises of the Group's own stores and Outlets: sales of excess products after the close of seasons. The brands under which the products of the Group are sold are Peak Performance, InWear, Tiger of Sweden, Jackpot, Cottonfield, Matinique, Part Two, By Malene Birger, Saint Tropez, Soaked in Luxury, and Designers Remix Collection. The Group owns stores in Belgium, Denmark, Poland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, Canada, Finland, the UK, Austria, Norway, the Czech Republic, Hungary, China, Ireland and France. The Group has 38 subsidiaries in the whole world. Wholesale accounted for 65% of fiscal 2008/2009 revenues; retail sales, 30% and outlet sales, 5%. |
