| The Group's principal activities are to manufacture and market paints, speciality chemicals, rubber chemicals, adhesives & starch. The Group's activities are carried out through three segments: Paints; Chemicals and Flavours and Fragrances. Paints segment manufactures decorative and refinish paints. Industrial Specialists segment manufactures Unimqema, food starch, polymers and adhesives. Industrial Chemicals segment manufactures rubber chemicals and nitrocellulose. Flavours and Fragrances segment manufactures and markets flavours and fragrance. As on 28-Dec-2005, the Group transferred its Rubber Chemicals Business to PMC Rubber Chemicals India Private Limited and the same is reported as discontinued business results. |
