| The Group's principal activities are carried out through three business segments: Window coverings: relates to sales and manufacturing of window coverings and architectural products for commercial and residential use. Investments: relates to the Group's investment portfolio, which is invested in marketable securities in a variety of asset classes, including hedged equities, arbitrage, financial trading, and fixed income. Metal trading: represents trading in metals mainly in contracts on bulk metals. The Group's activities are located in Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia and Australia. In 2007 the Group acquired 100% of Vista Products (USA), 3form (USA), ESI (USA), Hexcelscreen (France) and NBK (Germany). |
