The Group's principal activity is the manufacture of optical glasses and eyeglasses. The operations are carried out through the following divisions: Electro optics; Pentax; Vision care; Health care; Photonics and Other. Electro optics includes photo masks for fabricating semiconductor devices, mask blanks and glass magnetic-memory disks. Pentax includes endoscopic imaging devices and biocompatible ceramics. Vision care includes optical lenses, optical glasses and glasses for Electronics. Health care includes contact lenses and hearing aids. Photonics include Laser equipment. Other operations include crystal glass products, as well as information system construction.
