The Group's principal activity is the operation of retail markets and garden centers. The Group's activities are carried out through two divisions: DIY Megastores and Real Estate. As of February 29, 2009, it ran 125 DIY megastores with garden centers, including 91 stores in Germany and 34 stores across the rest of Europe, located in Austria, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Sweden, Slovakia and Romania.
