The Group principal activities are developing, leasing, operating, franchising and managing economy hotels under the Home Inn brand in China. The Group leases real estate properties on which it develops and operates hotels and it franchises to hotel owners and manages these hotels. On 30- Jun-2007, the Home Inns hotel chain consisted of 117 leased-and-operated hotels and54 franchised-and-managed hotels in operation, with an additional 50 leased-and-operated hotels and 13 franchised-and-managed hotels under development, covering 66 cities in China.
