The Group's principal activity is to manufacture electronic equipment and materials. The operations are carried out through the following divisions: High-tech materials; Electronic device systems, Information electronics and Life science. High-tech materials division offers steel products, nonferrous metal products, optical communications materials and petrochemical products. Electronic device systems division manufactures, sells and installs semiconductor manufacturing equipment, electronic microscopes, liquid crystal display(LCD)-related devices and hard disc-related equipment, as well as provides maintenance services for the equipment. Information electronics division manufactures and sells instrumentation equipment and related systems and surface-mounting systems for electronic parts, as well as sells LCD devices and software. Life science division manufactures, sells and installs mass analyzers, bio-related equipment and medical analytical equipment.
