The Group's principal activity is providing insurance business in the United Kingdom and overseas. It has operations relating to the global market trading primarily through Syndicate 33, Panther Re and Syndicate 3624 at Lloyd's in the London Market, underwrites mainly internationally traded business generally large or complex business which needs to be shared with other insurers or which need the international licences of Lloyd's. The Group also underwrites a wide range of specialist insurance for professionals and business customers and also high value household business and fine art risks. The Group operates in the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Bermuda, France, the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.
