| The Group's principal activity is to provide general acute care health services in non-urban communities. The acute care hospitals offer medical and surgical services, including inpatient care, intensive & diagnostic services. The Group also provides outpatient services such as one-day surgery, laboratory, x-ray, respiratory therapy, cardiology and physical therapy. Specialty services such as cardiology, euro-surgery, oncology, radiation therapy, CT scanning, MRI imaging, lithotripsy and full-service obstetrics are provided at some hospitals. At 31-12-2007, the Group operates 59 hospitals in 16 states with approximately 8,458 licensed beds. |
