It operates through four segments: Automotive, Professional, Consumer and Other. Automotive segment designs, manufactures and markets audio, electronic and infotainment systems for vehicle applications. Consumer segment designs, manufactures and markets audio and consumer electronics for home, multimedia and mobile applications. Professional segment designs, manufactures and markets loudspeakers, power amplifiers, digital signal processors, microphones, headphones and mixing consoles used by audio professionals in concert halls, stadiums, airports and other public spaces. Other segment includes operations of its QNX business, which offers operating system software, middleware, development tools and consulting services. Its brand names include AKG, Crown, JBL, Infinity, Harman/Kardon, Lexicon, dbx, BSS, Studer/Soundcraft, Mark Levinson and Becker. |
