Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad is an investment holding company. The Company operates in six segments: plantation, which is engaged in cultivation of oil palm and processing of fresh fruit bunches; property, which is engaged in property investment and property development; credit financing, which is engaged in provision of financial services; fertilizer trading, which is engaged in trading and distribution of fertilizers and agro-chemicals; quarry and building materials is engaged in operating of stone quarries and asphalt plants, manufacture of bricks and trading in building materials, and automotive, which is engaged in trading in motor vehicles, spare parts and servicing of motor vehicles. In February 2013, its subsidiary, Hap Seng Building Materials Holdings Sdn Bhd acquired Blue Ocean Pearl Sdn Bhd. In March 2013, Hap Seng Building Materials Holdings Sdn Bhd completed the disposal of its25% interest in Lei Shing Hong (Singapore) Pte Ltd to Lei Shing Hong Limited.
