Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores S.A. is a Colombia-based holding company engaged in the acquisition, purchase and sale of stocks, bonds and shares of companies active in the financial sector. As of December 31, 2008, the Company owned such subsidiaries as Banco de Bogota SA, Banco de Occidente SA, Banco AV Villas SA and Banco Popular SA. It also holds a 20% interest in Porvenir SA and a 7.6% interests in Leasing de Occidente SA. In addition, the Company is a 30.91%-owned subsidiary of Adminegocios SA.
