| The Groups principal activities are to provide financial advisory and merchant banking services. The Group's activities constitute a single business segment, with two principal sources of revenue. The Financial advisory services include underwriting services, retainer services and investment advisory services. The Merchant banking services consists of management fees on the merchant banking activities, gain or loss on investments in the merchant banking funds and other merchant banking services. It focuses on large and mid-size corporations in a range of industries, including communications and media, consumer goods and retail, financial services, technology; energy and utilities, lodging and leisure, and general industrial. It provides strategic and financial advice to US and Non-US clients in mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, and other corporate financial matters. |
