The Group's principal activities are operating managed, tenanted and leased public houses, brewing beer and wholesaling beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. Its operations are carried out through four divisions: Retail, Pub Partners, Belhaven and Brewing. Retail Company covers the results of managed pubs and restaurants in 792 outlets. The main brands include Hungry Horse, Hardy's House, Old English Inns and Loch Fyne Restaurants. Pub Partners covers the results of tenanted and leased houses. It runs Greene King's tenanted and leased pubs. Belhaven covers the results of Scottish operation which includes managed and tenanted houses and brewing and selling beer. Brewing Company covers brewing beer, marketing and selling. Brands include Greene King IPA, Abbot Ale, and Old Speckled Hen. On 07-Aug-2007 and 14-Nov-2007, the Group acquired the entire share capital of Loch Fyne Restaurants Ltd and New Century Inns Ltd. It operates predominantly in the United Kingdom
