The Sign Making and Specialty Graphics operating segment includes the Gerber Scientific Products and the Spandex operating units and it market printing equipment, software and aftermarket supplies. The Apparel and Flexible Materials operating segment markets its products through the Gerber Technology. It develops, manufactures, distributes and services sophisticated design and cutting equipment and software. The Ophthalmic Lens Processing segment is operating through Gerber Coburn it is a provider of computer integrated optical lens processing systems in its geographic markets. On 05-Sep-2008, the Group acquired Gamma Computer Tech Co Ltd in China and on 21-Oct-2008, Virtek Vision International Inc.
