The Group's principal activity is to provide imagery information products and image processing services. It operates GeoEye-1, IKONOS, OrbiView-3, high resolution and Orbi View-2, low resolution satellite. Its products and services enable timely, accurate and accessible location intelligence. The Group provides products and services to the United States Government, including the national security community, international customers, and North American commercial customers. It also provide two types of services to different customers: imagery collection services and imagery processing services. High resolution images can also aid with a wide range of commercial applications such as on-line and precision mapping, environmental impact assessments, utility infrastructure planning, wireless telecommunications design, oil and gas exploration, forestry management, insurance and risk management and natural disaster assessment and relief. It operates in the United States.
