The Group's principal activities are the supply, transport, distribution and commercialisation of gas and the generation and commercialisation of electricity. The Group is based in Spain and distributes gas in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Italy since 2002. The group has 11 distributing companies in Spain and it started the commercialisation of natural gas in France. In the year 2005, the Group signed an agreement with Repsol YPF to jointly develop liquefied natural gas businesses, with the formation of an LNG transport company which will become the third largest in the world by volume of gas transported.
