The Group's principal activity is to operate and maintain power plants. It operates under two major sectors namely, Power and Roads. Under the Power sector, the Group is engaged in the generation and supply of electricity by using power utilities, nuclear and thermal. Under the Roads sector, it provides service to the building, development and maintenance of roads. On 09-May-2008, the Group acquired GVK Developmental Projects Private Limited. The Group's wholly owned subsidiary GVK Aviation Private Limited ceased to be a subsidiary with effect from 30-Sep-2008. On 27-Nov-2008, the Group acquired GVK Energy Limited.
