| The Group's principal activity is to operate as an open-end trust to invest, through GENIVAR Operating Trust a wholly-owned trust, in limited partnership units of GENIVAR Limited Partnership 'GENIVAR LP' and in shares of GENIVAR GP, the general partner of GENIVAR LP. On 25-May-2006, the Group acquired operating assets of GENIVAR Engineering Services Business and the shares of GENIVAR Ontario Inc and GENIVAR (Trinidad Tobago) Ltd. On 25-Feb-2007, the Group acquired Groupe GLD, on 28-Apr-2007, NOVE Environnement, on 03-Jul-2007, National Capital Engineering, on 10-Jul-2007, SEG Engineering, on 28-Jul-2007, Harmer Podolak Engineering Consultants, on 01-Sep-2007 TERRA Experts Conseils, on 01-Oct-2007 Andre Simard et Associes, on 27-Oct-2007 B H Martin Consultants Ltd and on 31-Oct-2007, acquired 9142-1362 Quebec Inc. |
