The Group's banking/finance segment provides clients with select retail-banking and consumer lending services through its bank subsidiaries. Its consumer lending activities include automotive lending related to the purchase, securitization and servicing of retail instalment sales contracts, consumer credit and debit cards, real estate equity lines and home equity/mortgage lending. It also provides investment management, fund administration, shareholder services, transfer agency, underwriting, distribution, custodial and other fiduciary services. It has operations in the United States, Canada, The Bahamas, Europe, Asia, South and Central America, Africa and Australia. |
