| The Group's principal activity is to own, develop, manage and acquire commercial and residential real estate and land throughout the United States. It operates through three groups: Commercial Group, Residential Group, Land Development Group and Lumber Trading Group. The Commercial Group owns, develops, acquires and operates regional malls, specialty/urban retail centers, office buildings, hotels and mixed-use projects. The Residential Group owns, develops leases and manages residential rental properties. As of 31-Jan-2009, the Group owned 101 completed properties, including 47 retail properties, 48 office properties and 5 Hotels. The Land Development Group acquires and sells land and developed lots to residential, commercial and industrial customers. In addition, it owns and develops land into master-planned communities and mixed-use projects. The Group's market includes Boston, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Richmond, San Francisco and Washington. |
