| The Group's principal activities are producing, distributing and selling soft drinks and beer and operating convenience stores. Soft drinks include marketing of certain Coca-Cola trademark beverages in Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Venezuela, Colombia, Brazil and Argentina. Beer is involved in the operation of 6 breweries throughout Mexico. It produces and distributes 21 different brands of beer, of which the 5 most important are Tecate, Sol, Carta Blanca, Superior and Indio. Convenience store includes the operation of a chain of OXXO convenience stores. It is also involved in the production and distribution of packaging materials primarily to the beverage industry such as labels, plastic cases, coolers and commercial refrigeration equipment and the transportation, logistics and maintenance services to its subsidiaries and to third parties. |
