| The Group's principal activity is to operate and assist senior living communities, including independent living and congregate care communities, assisted living communities and nursing homes. The Group operates in 101 communities containing 14,035 living units, including 48 primarily independent and assisted living communities containing 9,167 units and 53 nursing homes containing 4,868 units. The Group also leases 45 communities containing 8,774 units from Senior Housing Properties Trust. All the nursing homes of the Group are leased from Senior Housing. |
