The Group's principal activity is to provide a wide range of financial services to individuals and businesses through its banking services. Its services include consumer banking, residential and commercial lending, as well as risk and wealth management services. It provides the customers with consumer and commercial banking services like residential and commercial real estate loans, commercial business loans and leases, consumer loans and consumer and commercial deposit products. The Group also provides insurance, trust and investment services. As of December 31, 2008 it operates 114 bank branches in 21 counties across New York.
